Actress Kenter, Actor Gezen And Writer Ayse Kulin Became Unicef's Goodwill Ambasadors

ISTANBUL - Turkish national committee for UNICEF and UNICEF Turkey country office assigned Turkish Actress Yildiz Kenter, actor Mujdat Gezen and writer Ayse Kulin as UNICEF goodwill ambassadors.
Prof. Talat Halman, Chair of the Turkish national Committee for UNICEF, held a press conference in Istanbul on Friday and said in the past Kenter, Gezen and Kulin had done charities for children with great sacrifices and generosity individually or as part of other institutions and indicated that now they would continue to do so officially under UNICEF.
Halman, noted that the goodwill ambassadors were chosen among people who were renown for their talents and accomplishments and said these individuals participated in fund raising activities for children and help children voice their problems.
Halman, later presented Kenter, Gezen and Kulin with `good will ambassador" certificates.
