Minimum Wage Fixing Commission To Meet On December 3rd

ANKARA - The Minimum Wage Fixing Commission will meet on December 3rd to set the minimum wage to be valid in 2008.
The meeting will begin at the Labor & Social Security Ministry at 10 a.m. on Monday.
The commission consists of five representatives of workers, five representatives of employers and five government representatives.
The minimum wage is actually net 419.15 new Turkish liras (YTL) for workers above 16.
The government program for 2008 foresees six percent raise in minimum wage in January.
