ISPARTA - Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim flew over the scene of the crash of an Atlasjet plane in Keciborlu town of Mediterranean province of Isparta on Friday.
The plane was en route from Istanbul to Isparta, and it crashed in Keciborlu`s Turbetepe region when it was about to land at Isparta`s Suleyman Demirel Airport. There were two pilots, four cabin crew, one technician and 49 passengers aboard the plane.
Yildirim is actually having a meeting with Isparta Governor Semsettin Uzun and members of the crisis desk at the airport.
On the other hand, the technician aboard the plane was identified as Alaattin Celik.
Earlier, the Atlasjet Airlines management announced the crew members as Serhat Ozdemir, Tahir Aksoy, Cagatay Sirin, Mana Topcu, Sinem Hatice Vurgun and Mumine Bulut. They were all staff of World Focus Airlines.
The aircraft belonged to World Focus Airlines and was a wet-lease for Atlasjet Aviation.
