MADRID - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said on Thursday that Organization for Security & Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) should show that fight against terrorism is legitimate.
Speaking at the fifteenth meeting of the Ministerial Council of OSCE in Madrid, Babacan said that Turkey --like Spain during March 11th attacks-- gave many victims to terrorism, adding, "we should show our determination in fight against terrorism, and should look after victims of terrorism."
Noting that Turkey provided military, medical and social assistances to Afghanistan which needs help in fight against terrorism, Babacan said that OSCE countries should help Afghanistan too.
Babacan said that cultural cooperation is more necessary in the countries which are getting more globalized each day, adding that Alliance of Civilizations Initiative is a big opportunity to fulfill this.
