Turkey And Bulgaria Sign Three Agreements

ANKARA - Turkey and Bulgaria signed three agreements following the meeting of Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Pasi on Wednesday.
The first of the agreements, which were signed before the joint news conference of Gul and Pasi, envisages co-operation between the two countries in search-and-rescue efforts in the Black Sea.
Sources said that the increasing sea traffic in the Black Sea entailed Turkey and Bulgaria to further improve their bilateral relations to this end.
The two countries also signed a co-operation program in science, culture and education for the period of 2004 and 2006.
Under the third agreement, Article 4 of the visa agreement, which was signed in 1993, would be changed.
According to change, Turkey and Bulgaria will mutually accept 30-day visa exemption for service passports.
