TOBB Chairman Leaves For Romania

ANKARA - Rifat Hisarciklioglu, the chairman of the Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), left for Romania on Wednesday.
Hisarciklioglu will participate in the general assembly meeting of the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) on Thursday.
TOBB Chairman Hisarciklioglu will take over the presidency of the association from Romania for one year.
Hisarciklioglu will submit the member countries an action plan prepared by TOBB, and return to Turkey after the general assembly meeting.
Founded in 1994, the ABC is a non-political and non-governmental organization aiming at assisting the business activities on the Balkans, developing commercial and economic ties among the Balkan countries and seeking cooperation opportunities.
The association has ten members including Turkey, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Greek Cypriot administration.
