Prince Charles In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Prince of Wales Charles and his wife Dutchess of Cornwall Camilla visited Rahmi Koc Museum in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Charles attended a meeting on "Engage Istanbul" held by the Private Sector Volunteers Association (OSGD) and Business in the Community (unique movement of over 800 of the Britain`s top companies) in the conference hall of Rahmi Koc Museum.
"Engage Istanbul" set up by OSGD and British Council is a network aiming to encourage employees of several companies to work voluntarily on social matters.
Taking the floor in the meeting, prince Charles, who is also honorary chairman of Business in the Community, said they developed several social responsibility projects in Britain. Such projects would contribute to the future of companies, he said.
Charles stated several European cities were eager to take part in "Engage Program" and Istanbul would also become a member of it.
On the other hand, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla visited Eyup Mosque and Kariye Museum in Istanbul.
