Istanbul Stock Exchange Opening Session Postponed

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) opening on Wednesday was postponed due to a technical breakdown.
IMKB said in a statement that data flow was interrupted as fiber optic cables were broken off during municipality`s road construction works on Istinye Street (near IMKB building).
"Therefore, opening session of the stock exchange has been postponed. Opening time of the trading will be announced later," it said.
On the other hand, Turk Telekom, Turkey`s largest telecommunication company, said that it sent its technical teams to fix the problem despite an ongoing strike of company workers.
