SOFIA - Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Pasi said on Wednesday that relations in every field between Turkey and Bulgaria were at the highest level and stated that he believed that Bulgaria would make cooperation with Turkey on the European Union (EU) path soon.
Pasi will start his meetings in Ankara on Wednesday as the guest of Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
Prior to his departure from Sofia for Turkey, Pasi told the A.A correspondent that Gul and he would discuss many different issues especially EU integration and mutual economic cooperation during his visit to Turkey.
Pasi noted that there was not any problem between Turkey and Bulgaria.
He stressed that Turkish-Bulgarian relations also turned into relation of allies with Bulgarian's full membership to NATO.
Stating that there were many new developments on solution of problems on visa and residence permit of Turkish businessmen working in Bulgaria, Pasi said that Turkish businessmen who had Schengen, the United States, Canada and Australia visas were given Bulgarian visa without any additional procedure.
In regard to Iraq issue, Pasi said that Bulgaria would fulfill its duties in Iraq till the very end and stated that vital steps should be taken in Iraq as soon as possible.
Pasi noted that new Iraqi government's gaining its legitimacy in international field was of great importance for Iraq to reach peace and stability.
