New Candidates For Turkey's Judge In E C H R

ANKARA - The list of new candidates for the Turkish judge's position to be left vacant after Riza Turmen at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has been finalized, it was reported.
Sources said that a professor at the Brussels University Rusen Ergec, Assistant Dean of Law Faculty at Galatasaray University Dr. Isil Karakas and Assistant Dean of Law Faculty at Ankara University Dr. Ali Ulusoy's names will be submitted to the Council of Europe within December to replace Riza Turmen.
Turmen had been serving at the ECHR for the past nine years.
