ANKARA - German Naval Forces Commander Lutz Feldt visited Turkish Naval Forces Commander Ozden Ornek on Tuesday.
Vice-Admiral Ornek said prior to the meeting that they would discuss issues concerning naval forces of both countries and especially NATO issue.
Noting that they would exchange views regarding terrorism at seas, Vice-Admiral Ornek said that they would evaluate measures which could be and should be taken against terrorism at seas.
Vice-Admiral Feldt said that communication ways between naval forces of Turkey and Germany were always open and bilateral relations were very strong.
Noting that they would basically discuss fight against terrorism in the meeting, Vice-Admiral Feldt said that it was not possible to limit the issue of terrorism at seas with a territory, adding that what terrorism was and the ways to fight against it were important.
Vice-Admiral Feldt will depart from Turkey on May 27.
