ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen met on Tuesday with Economic Affairs Minister Laurens Jan Brinkhorst of the Netherlands.
Tuzmen said that they aimed to further improve trade volume amounting to 3 billion U.S. dollars between Turkey and the Netherlands.
Stating that the Netherlands had investments in Turkey, Tuzmen noted that they needed Dutch companies' support especially on privatization and foreign capital.
Tuzmen said that Euromed meetings would be held in Istanbul on July 21 and noted that economy and trade ministers of European Union (EU) member and candidate countries would attend those meetings.
Brinkhorst said that Turkey had big potential especially in agriculture field and added that cooperation in this field between the two countries was ''perfect''.
