ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan left for the United States on Tuesday to hold a series of meetings on privatization.
Unakitan will hold talks with representatives of the international finance institutions both in Washington D.C. and New York.
Unakitan is also scheduled to attend promotion meetings for Turkish Airlines (THY) and Eregli Iron and Steel Factories (ERDEMIR).
He is expected to return to Turkey on May 30, 2004.
