Gul: Turkish Government Supports Izmir's Candidacy To Host Expo 2015

PARIS - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said on Monday that Turkish government and state give full support to Izmir (Turkish Aegean province) to host Expo 2015.
Gul attended the general assembly of the Bureau of International Exhibitions (BIE) in Paris, France.
Presentations about Izmir and Milan cities --which are candidates to host Expo 2015-- were displayed during the general assembly.
Gul said that officials are making required preparations for fiscal and legal organization for Izmir's candidacy. He expressed pleasure that non-governmental organizations and the government are working together for this project.
Gul said that Izmir's theme for Expo 2015 is "New Routes for A Healthier World: Health for All".
