LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) government will launch high-level foreign talks on Cyprus issue.
Following the meeting of TRNC Council of Ministers on Monday, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas told reporters that TRNC Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat and he would pay a visit to Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday and noted that after their meeting in Ankara, he would pay visits to several countries.
Denktas said that Talat would return from Ankara to TRNC, but he would continue to visit countries to hold talks and stated that his foreign talks were expected to end on June 16.
Denktas said that he informed the cabinet about his tour and noted, ''we have put our policy that we will pursue on the right track.''
Replying to a question, Denktas said that they would assess current process and determine strategy of coming days during their visit to Ankara and stated that they would have meetings with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
