ROME - Tiber Academy, an Italian educational institution having close ties with the Vatican, honored Turkish female diplomat Deniz Kilicer with an award on Saturday.
Kilicer, a counsellor at the Turkish Embassy in the Vatican, received honorary diploma award and a medal of honor in a ceremony at the Santa Cecilia Academy.
Prof. Fernando Mariotti gave Kilicer her award in the ceremony in which Turkish Ambassador in Rome Ugur Ziyal also participated.
