MALATYA/BIRECIK/REYHANLI - Turkish police confiscated 88.5 kilograms of heroin in eastern province of Malatya on Sunday.
"We detained five people in connection with the haul," Malatya Police Chief Ali Osman Kaya told A.A correspondent.
On the other hand, security forces seized 25.6 kilograms of hashish in Birecik town of southeastern province of Sanliurfa and arrested two people.
Meanwhile, security forces took into custody one person with five kilograms of hashish in Reyhanli town of southern province of Hatay.
