Turkish Parliament To Start Debating New Budget On December 4th

ANKARA - Turkish parliament will debate the draft budget of 2008 between December 4th and 14th.
Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan will submit the draft budget to parliament on December 4th.
Deniz Baykal, the chairman of the Republican People`s Party (CHP); Devlet Bahceli, the chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP); and Ahmet Turk, the chairman of the Democratic Society Party (DTP) group at the parliament; are expected to express their views and/or criticize the budget.
Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan will then take the floor to respond to criticisms.
