ANKARA - Duke of York Prince Andrew met on Monday with Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
Prince Andrew visited Turkey as ''international trade and investment special representative'' to develop commercial and investment relations between Turkey and Britain.
No statements were released regarding the meeting.
Prince Andrew, who will be received by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer on Tuesday, will also meet with State Minister Kursad Tuzmen and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler the same day. Prince Andrew will also visit Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Oil Terminal Zone in southern Adana province.
Prince Andrew will hold meetings in Turkish-British Business Council on May 26.
He will depart from Turkey the same day.
