Coepa Appoints Rapporteur For Cultural Condition Of Kurds

PARIS - Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (COEPA) Committee on Culture, Science and Education appointed British parliamentarian Russel Johnson as rapporteur for ''cultural condition of Kurds.''
The Committee decided Johnson to pay a working visit to Southeast Anatolian region of Turkey between June 7 and 12 and it prepared a draft program.
According to draft program, Johnson is planned to visit southeast Diyarbakir, Mardin, Van and Hakkari provinces in Turkey and also Duhok city in the north of Iraq.
