ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan will leave for the United States on Tuesday to hold a series of meetings on privatization.
Releasing a statement, the Ministry of Finance stated on Monday that Unakitan would hold talks with representatives of the international finance institutions both in Washington D.C. and New York.
Unakitan is also scheduled to attend promotion meetings for Turkish Airlines (THY) and Eregli Iron and Steel Factories (ERDEMÝR).
He is expected to return to Turkey on May 30, 2004.
