RABAT - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc arrived in Morocco on Monday on a four-day visit as the guest of Abdelwahed Radi, the speaker of the House of Representatives of Morocco.
Speaking at the airport, Arinc said, ''our visit to Morocco targets to further improve political relations between Turkish and Moroccan parliaments.
Deputy Parliament Speaker Sadik Yakut; Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputies Nihat Ergun, Ertugrul Yalcinbayir and Mevlut Akgun; Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy Atilla Kart and parliament officials are accompanying Arinc during his visit.
Arinc and the accompanying parliamentary delegation are scheduled to meet with Radi and Moroccan Parliament's Upper Chamber Speaker Mustapha Oukacha on May 24.
Arinc will meet with leaders of political parties in Morocco.
Radi will host a dinner in honor of Arinc and his wife later in the day.
