THESSALONIKI - Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan arrived in Thessaloniki, Greece on Monday.
Babacan will represent Turkey at the 10th Thessaloniki Forum Conference which started on Monday.
Turkish Parliamentary European Union (EU) Adjustment Commission Chairman Yasar Yakis will also participate in the conference which was organized by the Industrialists' Association of Northern Greece to examine economic activities in the region after changes that have taken place in Southeastern Europe in recent years.
Greek Prime Minister Costas Caramanlis and Foreign Minister Petros Molivyatis will also attend the conference.
Babacan is expected to explain his views on the region at the round table session entitled, ''Expectations of Southeastern Europe Region'' which will be held the same day.
