CAIRO - Turkish company STFA Enerkom will bid for Alexandria-Cairo energy transmission line tender in Egypt.
Sources said on Monday that STFA Region Director in Egypt Tahsin Usluoglu had presented the company's proficiency file to the tender commission.
The project includes construction of a 230-kilometer 500-kilowatt power line between Alexandria and Cairo.
Thirteen international companies from Turkey, Spain, Japan, Russia, India, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and Korea have presented their qualification files to the Egyptian Power Transmission Company.
