Security Forces Destroy 14 Terrorist Shelters In Sirnak

SIRNAK - Security forces destroyed fourteen PKK/KONGRA-GEL shelters in the rural areas of southeastern province of Sirnak and a land mine planted on a road in Idil town of Sirnak.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Sirnak Governor's Office said that during their operations in the rural area of Sirnak, security forces found fourteen PKK/KONGRA-GEL shelters and captured two people on charges of aiding and abetting the terrorist organization.
It added that gendarmerie command teams had destroyed an antitank land mine planted on the gendarmerie outpost road in Idil.
Operations are under way in the region.
