ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will leave for United States on Sunday to attend the Middle East peace conference to take place in Annapolis, Maryland on November 26th and 27th.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry noted earlier that Turkey will attend the conference with a delegation led by Babacan, and Turkey will continue to contribute to search for peace and stability in the region as well as efforts to build common future of the region.
The conference is expected to re-launch formal Israeli-Palestinian talks on a final peace agreement that were broken off seven years ago.
Several international organizations, such as United Nations, International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and over 40 countries were invited to participate in the conference.
