ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted a dinner in honor of Slovenian PM Janez Jansa in Prime Ministry building in Ankara on Wednesday.
Erdogan said Turkey has been advancing on its path to the EU membership with resolute steps.
Bilateral relations between Turkey and Slovenia were based on respect, understanding and friendship, Erdogan stated.
"Turkish and Slovenian governments aim to boost prosperity of the two countries," he said.
Erdogan said, "the developments concerning Turkey's EU accession process have been closely monitored by Islamic countries and from America to Asia."
On the other hand, Jansa said there was a great potential to boost relations between the two countries.
Slovenia supported the reforms that were fulfilled by Turkish government, Jansa added.
