First Cloned Sheep Of Turkey

ISTANBUL - A sheep was cloned at Istanbul University (IU) that is the first cloned sheep of Turkey.
IU Press and Public Relations Department said in a statement on Wednesday that "Cloned Sheep Project" within the scope of projects assisted by the State Planning Organization (DPT) and the Scientific & Technological Research Center (TUBITAK) was the first cloning project of Turkey.
The first cloned sheep of Turkey was named "Oyali".
