ANKARA - Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa said Wednesday they will try to speed up dialogue between EU and Turkey during Slovenia's EU presidency.
He added that Slovenia supports process of Turkey's integration with the EU.
Speaking at Turkey-Slovenia Business Forum in Ankara, Jansa said Turkey takes place between Asia and Europe and thus it has an important role in regional security.
Slovenia will undertake EU presidency in 2008, Jansa said and added that Turkey's EU integration process began, and Slovenia extends full support to this process.
Jansa said railway agreement which was signed between the two countries will yield positive results.
