ROME - Turkish Justice Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin called for a sincere international cooperation in fight against bribery.
Speaking in a meeting held by OECD in Rome on Wednesday, Sahin defined bribery and corruption as crimes against humanity.
He noted that it is also important to implement and follow-up the decisions which were made in line with international agreements against corruption and bribery.
Sahin said Turkey recorded a great progress in fight against bribery, however there are more steps that should be taken.
The meeting was attended also by Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi and Justice Minister Clemente Mastella.
