ISTANBUL - A Gulf Air passenger jet with 121 people on board made an emergency landing at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport on Wednesday.
The Gulf Air flight, from Bahrain to Istanbul, sent an emergency landing signal to the control tower due to technical problems while it was descending, sources told the A.A.
Airport authorities took necessary precautions for a safe landing and the plane touched down without problem at the airport at 1:10 p.m., sources added.
