U.S. Invites Turkey To Annapolis Summit

WASHINGTON D.C. - The United States has invited Turkey to the Annapolis Conference to take place on November 27.
The U.S. Department of State included Turkey's name among the countries invited to the conference that will signal broad international support for the Israeli and Palestinian leaders' courageous efforts.
The Annapolis summit will give start to peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine for the first time in seven years. More than 40 countries have been invited to the conference and this list can be broadened.
Representatives of the United Nations (UN), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank are also expected to participate in the conference.
U.S. President George W. Bush is to take the floor in the opening session of the conference.
