ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that those who does not distinguish terror and democracy cannot expect any help from democracy.
"Those who do not respect constitutional rights cannot conduct politics within the Constitutional order," Erdogan told.
Taking the floor at the group meeting of the Justice & Development (AK) Party, Erdogan indicated that only individuals who turn their back on terror to support democracy and laws are part of the democratic system.
"Discrimination, execution without due process of law and political lynches are not among our rules. Equally, violence and bloodshed are not part of democracy and the rule of law," Erdogan remarked.
Erdogan also stressed that the Turkish democracy, political system and constitutional order are strong enough to absorb shocks and turbulences.
