Democracy Isolates Terrorism And Terrorists, Gul

ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said Tuesday democracy isolates terrorism and terrorists.
"The more importance we attach to democracy, the more successful we will be," Gul told a meeting at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce.
Gul said Turkey will definitely eradicate terrorism and there is no place to ethnic discrimination in Turkey.
"All citizens living in this country are equal. They elect and be elected and they have the right to get appointed to every post," he also said.
Gul said Turkey has problems in many of its regions, not only in one of its regions.
"These are matters we can overcome altogether. It is our duty to enhance fraternal ties in this country," Gul told the gathering.
Gul said Turkey has played important roles in the world so far.
"We will again play important roles but we should maintain our confidence and be in solidarity and cooperation," he also said.
