Turkmen - Turkish Friendship Week Begins In Ashkhabad

ASHKHABAD - Turkmen-Turkish friendship week began in Turkmenistan on Monday.
A Turkish and Turkmen handicrafts exhibition was inaugurated within the scope of the week. The Culture & Promotion Counsellor's Office at the Turkish Embassy in Ashkhabad hosted a reception in honor of Turkmen executives, diplomatic mission chiefs, Turkish businessmen and citizens, and Turkmen citizens.
A film promoting Turkey was on the screen during the reception.
Ambassador Hakki Akil said these activities bring civilizations closer to each other.
Ankara State Turkish Folkloric Music Band will give a concert, and Turkish films will be screened during the event that will end on Thursday.
