Istanbul To Host Turkish - Italian Forum

ANKARA - The Fourth Turkish-Italian Forum will take place in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul on November 22nd.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and his Italian counterpart Massimo D'Alema will take the floor in the opening session of the forum at the Conrad Hotel.
The Strategic Researches Center of the Foreign Ministry, Italian geopolitic thought magazine LIMES and Italian UNICREDIT bank will organize the forum.
The forum will bring together Turkish and Italian businessmen, academicians and journalists.
The first Turkish-Italian Forum took place in Italian capital of Rome in 2004.
Meanwhile, Babacan and D'Alema will have a bilateral meeting and hold a joint press conference on the sidelines of the forum.
The two ministers are expected to debate political, economic and cultural relations, Turkey's EU membership bid and regional and international matters.
Babacan and D'Alema are to visit a paintings exhibition called "Italian Orientalists in Ottoman Territories" organized at the Dolmabahce Palace by the Turkish Parliament and Italian Culture Association.
The two foreign ministers will also participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new office of Italian Trade Commission.
