ANKARA - Turkey-EU Troika meeting to be held in Brussels on Tuesday will be an opportunity for Turkey to exchange views with EU officials about recent developments in the region, said sources close to the Turkish MFA on Monday.
Sources indicated that Turkish delegation will be led by FM & Chief Negotiator for EU Talks Ali Babacan at the meeting to be attended by Portugal, which currently holds the rotating EU presidency, next president Slovenia and officials from the European Commission and the Council of the European Union.
Same sources added that things to be done in the coming period regarding reform process in Turkey will be discussed at the meeting and that Turkish delegation will share its opinions on the latest progress report and strategy document (on Turkey) released on November 6th.
