ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank dropped by 500 million U.S. dollars between May 7-14, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 551 million U.S. dollars on May 7 reduced to 33 billion 51 million U.S. dollars on May 14.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 1 billion 283 million U.S. dollars from 11 billion 617 million U.S. dollars to 12 billion 900 million U.S. dollars between April 22-30.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 1 billion 156 million U.S. dollars from 47 billion 41 million U.S. dollars to 48 billion 197 million U.S. dollars between April 22-30.
