ANKARA - Banks' credit volume rose 1 quadrillion 110.3 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 69 quadrillion 487.8 trillion TL between April 30 and May 7, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 68 quadrillion 377.5 trillion TL on April 30.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 902 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 714.1 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 147.2 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 61 quadrillion 438.2 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 983.9 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
