O.I.C. Delegation Including Atalay Meets With Cowen

DUBLIN - The delegation of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) including Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay met with Foreign Minister Brian Cowen of current European Union (EU) term president Ireland late on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Cowen condemned recent events in Gaza which resulted in killing of many people.
Stressing that everyone had been supporting a peaceful solution in the Middle East, Cowen said that they would do everything in their power to find a solution.
He noted that they would maintain their joint efforts with the OIC to provide peace and stability in the region.
Following the meeting, Atalay proceeded to British capital London.
He is expected to return to Turkey on Thursday.
