Turkish Security Forces Confiscate 45.9 Kg Of Heroin In Hakkari

HAKKARI - Turkish security forces confiscated on Wednesday 45.9 kg of heroin in southeast Hakkari province.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces confiscated 45 kg and 990 grams of heroin hidden in an automobile in Yuksekova town of Hakkari and one person was detained.
An investigation is under way.
Hakkari Governor's Office stated that security forces have confiscated 153 kg and 844 grams of heroin since the beginning of 2004 during their operations in the region.
