Gonul Returns To Turkey

ISTANBUL - National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul returned to Turkey on Tuesday after completing his visit to Belgium.
During his visit to Belgium, Gonul attended the meeting of defense ministers of the European Union (EU) held with the participation of defense ministers of the EU member countries and of non-EU member NATO allied countries.
He also attended a conference organized by the New Defense Agenda, a common platform for discussion of NATO and the EU defense and security policies, and delivered a speech on ''Security in Europe from Turkey's Point of View and Turkey's Contributions to European Security and Defense Policy''.
