ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay met on Tuesday with Chinese journalists who are paying a visit to Turkey as the guest of Turkish Directorate General of Press and Information.
In the meeting, Atalay said that Turkey attached great importance to relations with China.
Reciprocal meetings of journalists and businessmen were of great importance for further improvement of relations, Atalay stated.
All-China Journalists' Association Chairman Shao Huaze, heading the delegation, said that journalists exerted efforts for further improvement of Turkish-Chinese relations.
Shao noted that two countries had many common points.
Stating that they had seen Turkey's wish to further improve relations with China in their meetings in the last two days, Shao expressed pleasure with that will.
Shao also expressed pleasure to see and host a Turkish delegation comprised of Directorate General of Press and Information, Anadolu Agency and state-run TRT in China.
The Chinese delegation which came to Turkey on Sunday visited Anadolu Agency Director General and Executive Board Chairman on Monday.
All-China Journalists' Association members will go to southern province of Antalya on Wednesday. They will proceed to Istanbul on Friday and depart from Turkey on Sunday.
