ANKARA - Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener said on Monday that ''Economic Coordination Board'' comprised of five ministers was set up for economy to function in coordination and to follow economic developments regularly.
Following the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Sener told reporters that he would chair the Economic Coordination Board and stated that State Ministers Ali Babacan and Kursad Tuzmen, Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan and Industry and Trade Minister Ali Coskun would be members of the board.
Sener said that the board would discuss issues on the agenda and noted that the board would inform the Council of Ministers about economic developments.
Sener added that they would also take up issues on unemployment and improvement of employment which were submitted to the Council of Ministers.
