Turkish Police Seize 40.7 Kg Heroin In Van

VAN - Turkish police seized 40.7 kilograms of heroin in eastern Van province, sources said on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, police stopped a car and found 40.7 kilograms of heroin hidden in the trunk of the car.
Police detained the driver of the car.
An investigation is under way.
Turkish security forces had confiscated 114.2 kilograms of heroin in Van and its Ercis town in the last two weeks.
