14th International Istanbul Theatre Festival To Start On May 17

ISTANBUL - The 14th International Istanbul Theatre Festival organized by the Istanbul Culture and Art Foundation (IKSV) will start on May 17, 2004.
The festival will start with a dance performance ''Metapolis'' to be directed by Frederic Flamand.
A total of 25 plays will be staged during the festival which has hosted 205 plays and 2 thousand 200 players from 18 countries so far.
Four foreign theatre societies will participate in this year's festival.
