Turkey Will Start To Get Results Of Its Intense Efforts For Recognition Of Turkish Republic Of N. Cyprus

ANKARA - Turkey would start to get the results of its intense efforts in the European Union (EU), Islam countries and United Nations (UN) Security Council for recognition of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Friday.
Gul said that it was too early to comment on the news that TRNC would be recognized as the ''Northern Cyprus State'' in the meetings of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) from now on under a decision taken in a meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
But, Gul noted, Turkey would start to get the results of its intense efforts in coming days.
