ISTANBUL - Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said on Friday that Turkey supplies electricity to Iraq, not PKK.
Any sanction (in electricity supply) on Iraq is out of question, Guler said while speaking at a summit at ODTU Teknokent.
He noted that both private and public sectors in Turkey supply electricity to Iraq, adding that Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline is another joint project between Turkey and Iraq; and it is functioning well.
On the other hand, Guler said that talks with Iranian officials continue and Iranian Electricity Minister will arrive in Turkey soon, when asked about the possibility of cancellation of natural gas and oil agreement between Turkey and Iran.
