President Gul Receives Rice

ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul received the U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in Ankara on Friday.
No statement was made to the press regarding Gul-Rice meeting.
The meeting was also attended by Turkish FM and Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan and Undersecretary of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan.
Rice will proceed to Istanbul later in the day where she will attend an international conference on Iraq.
