Turkish Culture And Tourism Ministry's Book Chosen Best Publication In Sarajevo

ANKARA - Prestige book published by the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry named ''Ottoman Civilization'' was given the best publication award in the 19th International Sarajevo Book and Educational Equipment Fair in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Ministry said on Thursday.
A statement of the Ministry said that the book which told about Ottoman cultural and scientific heritage was prepared by a group headed by Turkish historians Prof. Dr. Halil Inalcik and Prof. Dr. Gunsel Renda.
Twenty-two experts contributed to the two-volume book.
The book was published in Turkish and English.
